First Friends Church, the founding church of the city of Whittier andWhittier College invites you to take part in the Quaker Experience. Whether curious about the college's Quaker roots or seeking your own new or continuing experience there is much to explore here.

First Friends Church offers:

• Meeting for Worship - Sundays at 11:00 a.m ~ followed by Coffee and Fellowship in the courtyard
  
• First Day Classes - Sundays at 9:30 a.m. for all ages
• Choir Rehearsal - Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. (no rehearsals in July & August) ~ College students are welcome to participate.

Bible Study Groups

• Bible Study at the Parsonage - Mondays at 7:00 p.m. (temporarily suspended)
• Quaker Men - Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. - Fellowship Hall
  
• Spiritual Growth Group - Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. - Fellowship Hall
• College Age Bible Study -Thursday at 5:00 p.m. -Church Library

Housing the Homeless
We help to support the feeding and housing of the homeless in our community. We work with various agencies to provide food, shelter, etc.

There is always a need for volunteers who wish to contribute their time by staying overnight with the homeless during these times. If interested, please contact the church office.
